DIY: How To Make Your Own Medicine Ball

It's Fall season which means lovely weather to take your workout outside at a local park! In today's blog I list the steps on how to make your own medicine ball to take with you anywhere to get that workout in.

What you will need:

- Old Basketball, Playground ball, etc. (depending on what size medicine ball you want)

- Fine grain sand (sand made for a children's sand box, can be purchased at Home Depot)

- Funnel

- Gorilla Tape (only tape that will be durable)

-Decorative Duct Tape (optional to add your own style)

- Pointy tool to poke a whole ie: leatherman, screwdriver, etc.

-Scale to measure how heavy the Medicine Ball is

How to make the Medicine Ball:

Step 1: Get the old ball and create a small hole into the ball this will allow you to insert the funnel for the sand

Step 2: Insert the funnel into the ball and slowly pour the sand in

Step 3: Fill the ball with sand all the way to your liking, and you can weigh it on a scale to get exact measurements of how much it weighs.

Step 4: Patch up the hole with Gorilla Tape, and proceed to wrap the whole ENTIRE ball with Gorilla Tape tightly, so you cannot see any of the old ball.

Note: Gorilla Tape is the only tape that is durable to endure the ball slams and weather conditions you may use the medicine ball in.

Step 5: (Optional) Add your own decorative Duct tape over the Gorilla Taped Medicine Ball to add style! (Of course I added Steelers Tape cause that's my team!)
