Got a Sweet Tooth? My 5 Favorite Dessert Alternatives
Today I share my top 5 favorite desserts that help satisfy my sweet tooth cravings, while eating healthy. Remember everything in moderation! Here's my list:
1. Protein Ice Cream- First of all yummmm! Who doesn't love ice cream? My favorite brands are Halo Top and Arctic Zero. These pints are great for those of you who want a refreshing treat that satisfies the taste buds and are lower in calories compared to regular ice cream.
2. Fruit- Yes fruit! There's nothing like a bowl of fresh fruit! Blueberries, Asian Pears, Clementines, Grapes, Honey Crisp Apples, and Pineapple are a few of my favorites.
3. Protein Waffles or Pancakes- I like to use Kodiak Cakes for my protein pancake mix with a drizzle of Walden Farms Syrup or I put a thin layer of peanut butter on top. The perfect treat!
4. Greek Yogurt- I buy plain Greek yogurt and add my own agave nectar or honey to sweeten it up. Sometimes I'll put some blueberries in the Greek yogurt too!
5. Protein Shake- Some of these supplement companies make some pretty tasty flavors, so try out different brands and see which ones you like!
